We are the leading and largest producer of Danish mushrooms. Our family-owned business is specialized in mushroom production, and our range covers organic brown and white mushrooms, portobello mushrooms, king oyster mushrooms, enoki and shiitake. We hand-pick about 90 percent of our mushrooms and we harvest most of them with roots.

Controlled organic production
At Tvedemose, we control every step of the production process. For instance, we produce our own growth medium based on manure. The mushroom growth is controlled by a climate system ensuring the right temperature and hydration. We also manually monitor and thin out the mushrooms in the growth period. Our high standards of hygiene in our production enables us to produce our mushrooms without the use of pesticides.


Improving convenience
We continuously work towards developing our product offering. Our range already includes pre-cut mushrooms, and we are currently in the process of expanding our assortment with sustainable meal solutions based on processed mushrooms.
